The festival showcases a stunning array of art styles and mediums,
and shines a spotlight on 4 Featured Artists, all local to Coronado & San Diego
FEATURED ARTISTS
An award-winning fine artist, muralist, and boutique gallery owner, Stefanie earned a B.F.A in Studio Arts and an M.S. focusing on Art Therapy applications with neuro-diverse populations. She taught at a local design college for a decade before opening SBFA, which was awarded the title of "Best Art Gallery" by Modern Luxury and The SD Reader. Stefanie was also named people's choice for "Best Artist" by San Diego Magazine. Clients include Balboa Park, Belmont Park, Estancia La Jolla Hotel, and the San Diego Museum of Art. She is a mom to two boys- Weston, 9, and Rowan, 3, who are her greatest works of Art.

What is the dress code for the Coronado Art & Wine Festival?
This event is a joyful celebration of art, wine, food, our kids, live
music, and community so wear your best and brightest colors to shine!
Make sure you’re comfortable enough to walk, dance, and have
a great time.
Which parts of the Festival are free?
Everything except the wine tasting areas are free to enjoy,
including live music, kid’s STEM activities, and selfie stations!
Which parts of the Festival are family-friendly?
The festival is fun and free for the whole family!
The only 21+ areas are wine tasting areas. Please plan accordingly.
Can I bring my dog?
Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Examples of such work or tasks include guiding people who are blind, alerting people who are deaf, pulling a wheelchair, alerting and protecting a person who is having a seizure, reminding a person with mental illness to take prescribed medications, calming a person with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) during an anxiety attack, or performing other duties. Service animals are working animals, not pets. The work or task a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person’s disability. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.
Are children allowed in the wine areas?
All festival events are 21 and older enforced by Alcohol Beverage Control. No children or infants are allowed to attend any festival event for the safety of all parties.
I have bought my ticket online, where do I collect my wristband?
All wristbands and wine cups will be issued at Will Call on the day of the Festival - Saturday May 11th beginning at 12:00 p.m. Bring a valid ID that matches the name on the ticket. No persons will be given a wristband without a valid ID.
There is a dedicated VIP Will Call to issue the VIP wristbands. No wristbands will be distributed before the festival.
Is there parking near event?
Parking is limited. We highly recommend taking public transportation or using a rideshare app. The law is very strict on drinking and driving.
If I want to upgrade my ticket to include more wine tastings, can I do this on the day?
Of course! As long as the area is not sold out, you are welcome to purchase a ticket. Please be responsible.
What can I do after the Festival?
Orange Avenue and the Ferry Landing are home to unique shops and delicious restaurants - make a day out of it and explore all around.
Crowd Release Notice: Please be aware, by entering the events, you voluntarily agree to your image and likeness being used and published, without compensation, for the Coronado Art & Wine Festival advertisements and promotional materials, and you release all organizers of the Coronado Art & Wine Festival (Coronado Schools Foundation, Coronado Chamber of Commerce, and Discover Coronado) from any liability regarding any such publication or use of your image and likeness. What does the DIAMOND VIP hotel package include?
Enjoy a splendid two-night stay for two guests at one of four Coronado island hotels beginning Friday, May 10th through Sunday, May 12th. Your package includes two Diamond VIP All-Access tickets, each offering 15 premium wine & food tastings with reserved VIP lounge seating.
Two events are included with this room package:
On Friday night after checking into your hotel, you’re invited to the Meet the Artists VIP Party at an architecturally stunning home in the heart of Coronado to meet the festival’s featured artists, enjoy gourmet bites and sip on hand-selected sommelier wine.
Saturday, May 11 includes two special VIP Experience tickets for the Coronado Art & Wine Festival which gives access to all three wine tasting areas within the Festival.
Hotel amenities vary by property, including credits, parking, and Mother’s Day brunches.
How do I get my tickets?
For the Meet the Artists VIP Party on Friday May 10th, no ticket is required - just valid ID (driver’s license or passport) for both guests. No guests under 21 are permitted into the event. One name of your party must match the name of the hotel reservation. Because this is a private residence, the address for the event will be provided upon check-in to your hotel.
For the Art & Wine Festival on Saturday, May 11th, a VIP Will-Call Booth on 9th Street and C Avenue in front of Christ Episcopal Church (1114 9th Street) will have your wristbands ready for you beginning at 12:00 p.m. Please bring valid ID (driver’s license or passport) for both guests showing they are each 21+ of age. No persons under 21 are allowed into any wine tasting area for any reason. One name of your party must match the name of the hotel reservation.
What time does the Meet the Artists VIP Party begin on Friday, May 10th?
The Meet the Artist VIP Party begins at 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at an architecturally stunning home in the heart of Coronado. Because this is a private residence, the address for the event will be provided upon check-in to your hotel.
Can I add more Festival tickets to my room package?
There are several other ticket options for purchase. the Diamond Package is exclusive to hotel packages.
Do I have to attend Friday night in order to pick-up Saturday Festival Tickets?
No but we will miss you. Guests will arrive to VIP Experience Area at 1114 9th Street on Saturday, May 11th beginning at 12:00 p.m. Please bring valid ID (driver’s license or passport) for both guests showing they are each 21+ of age. No persons under 21 are allowed into any wine tasting area for any reason. One name of your party must match the name of the hotel reservation.
Is transportation from my hotel to the Festival included?
Each hotel package has unique offerings. Please check with your hotel to see if your package includes transportation.
